Dolly, I also have very bad vision. I am eligible for contacts at the moment, but I am at the cutoff for both nearsightedness and astigmatism. So if my eyesight gets any worse, I won't be able to get contacts.
Since high school, I have not been eligible for contacts that cost less than my rent, which is just impossible to do right now.
