re: HAIR cd#2
Posted: 12/1/09 at 8:58pmExpensive. You NEVER buy the CD at the theatre unless it's a prerelease.

And even if it is a pre-release, unless is is a score you absolutely cannot wait to hear again better to get at retail of order from Amazon.
I wonder, now that Virgin is gone from Times Square and there is no well-stocked CD store in the area if that has increased the at-the-theatre sales. I know the labels count on about 10% of the audience buying the CD at the theatre.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

Most likely $25, the same price it is on their website, not sure if you get more photos with it at that price or not.

Posted: 12/2/09 at 6:13pmIs the HAIR 2-Lp set a limited edition? Not that it means much. When DROWSY CHAPERONE sold out its first limited edition, they just released a second batch. SO much for your "collectors' item."
