I've already posted some n00bish posts about coming to NY, but I'm pretty indecisive/desparate at this time, so any help would be wonderful!
I'm going to be in NY with some friends and if you guys can tell me ANYTHING that will help me get a really cheap ticket (<$50, maybe $60?) I will appreciate it forever! It doesn't matter what show; anything at this point is a possibility! Thanks!

Try TKTS or do lotteries and rushes.
If you want to see The Wedding Singer, they have a promotion until the 17th of July on www.broadwayoffers.com , enter code WSPBX78. Those are orchestra seats for 66.25, a great deal to see my favorite new Broadway show!
Try the general rush for The Color Purple! The first two rows are great and at $26 bucks you couldn't ask for better deal. Also, try talkin broadway for more rush and standing room policies.

It seems like TheOnlyOne wants to get tickets in advance, and not wait till the last minute. But those $ 26 tix for The Color Purple are great too! just make sure you get there at 8am and wait in line for hours, which might not be the way you want to spend your only day in NYC.
Go to www.broadwaybox.com, They have discount codes for free. Just go to the right side of the webpage and click on the show you want to see to get a free discount code. You can save a lot of money.
