HELP! - personalized Idina Menzel picture

Hi! I have a friend who is getting married in 17 days, and has just decided today that he wants to get his wife an autographed picture of Idina Menzel in Wicked for her wedding gift. Does anyone know if it is possible to contact Idina and have her do a personalized autograph? If anyone has a suggestion, please let us know ASAP. Thanks so much!

(PS - Right now he's bidding on an autographed pic on ebay, but it's not personalized...personalized would just be so much more fun)

Unfortunately, there is no EXPRESS Lane for personalized autographed pics. If she was in a show you could stage door, otherwise you have to send a pic care of the theatre she's working at or her management and there is no guarantees when or if you'll get it back. It's a sweet idea though. He could always try to get one and surprise her later.

She does start in September. I doubt she'll be there that early because she doesn't need to learn the part just familiarize herself with it.

Thanks for the help everyone. It's pretty much what I figured everyone would say, but he was there when I was typing it, so I had to be nice. (Hope he doesn't come back and see that I wrote this!). Yeah...I'm thinking the same thing about this not being the best idea for a WEDDING gift, but, I don't know his fiancee, so, who knows...maybe she REALLY likes Idina.

A good wedding gift for an obsessed Idina fan would be a trip to see her in Wicked in London LOL.

I think it's a nice gift (granted I've never gotten married and don't know what protocol is). It shows real thought in what she likes and not just trying to spend money. I don't know. Although the trip to London is better...
