has anyone been succesful at getting $40.00 rush tickets for the Friday at 5 shows? If so, how early did you get in line? thanks!

I think rush is only for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday performances.

I saw that.. but the website says "Rush tickets may also be available starting one hour prior to performances on other days."

Here's the deal: They set aside tickets specifically for rush on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They do NOT for the other days. If they are not sold out, they can offer rush, and that can be hit or miss. Two Sundays ago, I was able to get rush for the Sunday matinee. However, the Sunday evening show was sold out, so there was no rush for that night. (Rush is offered an hour before showtime; I'd suggest getting there at least a half-hour before that. Possibly earlier on weekdays.) ... The Friday at 5 p.m. show is relatively new, so I doubt too many people even know about it or have tried rushing it.

Just throwing in my two cents that due to a ticket malfunction, they offered me rush seats to the 3 pm matinee show last weekend, the 18th. Matinees definitely seem like your best bet for rush but since they've moved that time schedule, it could be different.

Any update... Has anyone been successful rushing Friday, Saturday or Sunday

I successfully rushed a Friday 5:00 p.m. show about a month ago. We got there a little before 3:00 and were the 6th and 7th people in line. But I did call the day before to feel it out, and the box office sounded pretty confident when they let me know rush tix would likely be available.
