Now I like all the shows nominated but I was devistated to find that not one person from the cast of "The Woman In White" was not nominated. Those guys worked there buts off and I'm really dissappointed to not see them even get recognised. I really felt that Maria Friedman should have been nominated for a Tony.
How do you feel?

I see that...
I AM SUPER PISSED...I've never felt this way for a show..like I was hoping that they would get nominated...but...I have to stop typing right now.
The show has been out of the spotlight way too long. People forgot the show, even Maria Friedman. Shame. Frankly, I thought she deserved a nomination over Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Without ALW, there wouldn't be a chance for Maria Friedman to get nominated to begin with.

No, not one person was not not nominated.
Did this really deserve its own thread?

Nope!
its sad, but expected
yes, it is sad and unfortunatly expected.
^Ditto. But there is a thread a little further down with the same subject matter as well.
I really think Maria deserved the Tony! She is just so talented and amazing! I also think MB was deserving of one...however he performed a select amount of shows.
Funny one should ask if this deserved its own thread.
But I guess it is much more valuable to have stupid threads about shows that were crap just so one can have their moment in the spotlight.
Like that asinine one about "In My Life".
So, Tuttle.
How ARE things in NonEq land?
Your life must be pretty complicated if you let things like Tony snubs "piss you off".
Please. No amaateur quarrels here.
IT just seems pointless, the things you people let get under your skin.

Remember it's JUST an award...
I thought Friedman was good, but hardly brillian. I remember thinking she was good, but other than that, I recall absolutely nothing about her performance. Totally forgettable, just like the rest of the terrible show.
Perhaps your negative comments belong somewhere else, this thread is praising the show, thanks.
KTHANKS.
Lol. I am not trying to fight, so sorry if it came off that way.
Well, some people are passionate about theatre, isn't that why we joined this site?
Sadly the whole cast never had the slightest chance after what happened to the show for what sort of reason whatsoever.
All of them surely deserved a nomination, although it's just an award and everyone who actually saw them perform knows how good they really are!
So remember the show as it was, a piece of art, forgotten by the most, still to the one who will remember it, it will always be something special. That's the way it should be.

I think it's time for Andrew to resume work on "The Phantom of Manhattan"...
