The internet presale for HOME at Signature Theatre starts today. The regular runs always sell out crazy fast because all the seats are only $20. I got mine!
Also, FIRST BREEZE OF SUMMER closes next Sunday. If you haven't seen it, you should -- the acting is great (especially Leslie Uggams, John Jelks and Yaya DaCosta)!

I subscribed to the Signature this season. I'd rather pay $60 upfront for guaranteed seats to all 3 than get them separately and risk...not getting them.

I totally agree -- makes perfect sense. It looks like they are selling subscriptions for one more week, so if you haven't yet seen FIRST BREEZE that is DEFINTIELY the way to go -- you can pay just $60 for FIRST BREEZE, HOME and ZOOMAN AND THE SIGN. Those prices really can't be beat.
I also got a subscription to avoid the sellouts I experienced during the Chuck Mee season. I don't know about anyone else, but I've been a bit disappointed. I had seats in the very last row of the theatre for First Breeze and I have them again for Home, even though I booked seats before the public on sale date. And it's not like I'm going on Saturday night either. I'm going on Tuesdays both times.
Now I know the theatre is small and there's no bad seats unless you're in the front on the far side, but still. I think that's a little ridiculous.

Indirect shill time:
I worked on HOME briefly when it moved to Broadway in about 1980.
This is one of the better plays of that period--funny, insightful and well-constructed. Did I say funny?
I look forward to seeing this one again after 28 years. So should you.

I've never once had a problem with seating at the Signature. In fact, I've had the exact same seat (or close to it) every single time; and that was before I could request what seat I wanted as a subscriber.
