Tickets for Hello Dolly are on sale through January 14, 2018. Does anyone know how long Bette Midler will be in the show?

Apparently from an interview she gave she said that right now she's signed on until that January date (that was what she was hesitant about was the length of time, so that is why she has a bunch of vacation periods scheduled). I can't see her extending. (I just hope it's filmed)
So after January she plans to take a break and potentially tour at smaller venues and Cabaret type shows in years to come.

Cool, thanks. I bought tickets for December, then I got nervous that she may leave the show by then.

Nope, she's in until January 14 at least.
I'm not optimistic she'll extend, which is why I have tickets for the 14th, heh.

On Tuesdays beginning June 13, 2017, the role of Dolly Levi will be played by Donna Murphy. Donna Murphy will also perform the role of Dolly Levi on June 27 - July 2, July 5 - 9, Sunday evening - July 30, September 6 - 10, Sunday evening - October 15, Monday evening - October 30, November 1 - 5, Friday - November 24 at 2pm, and Sunday evening - January 7.
