HUGE Wicked Blooper from today....

Right before "One short day" when Elphie says, "Stay with Me" and they hug... their hair got stuck!!!! They stood there trying to pull themselves apart for a good 15 secs... and they were hysterically laughing!
Besides that the show rocked... as usual.
And Idina gave an awesome "one year anniversary" speech @ the end...

Wicked Day in general was really awesome. The singers rocked!!!
ESP. ADAM!!!!!!!
Although i don't really agree with the overall winner, but whatever....
I met Marc PLatt and Stephen Schwartz and talked to Shosh for a while.

Seems you've got 7/18 on the brain unless they actually changed the line to "stay with me" from "come with me" ... haha. But great blooper. I still think Joey missing his cue that one time takes the cake, though.

He missed his cue like a month and a half or two months ago. Right before "One Short Day", too.. when he's supposed to run out and give Elphie flowers? Yeah, he was like 2 minutes late. Jennifer even had to go off stage and find out where he was. He talked about it in that Q&A thing he did on Broadway.com

Oh god, he called Glinda "Elphaba"? Hahaha. I'm sad I missed the time Norbert split his pants on stage..

Yeah, it was great. The guards grabbed him, he fell to his knees... Jennifer came to his side and said "You see, he was never going to hurt me. He just...loves her." He looked up into her eyes and said "Elphaba...*pause*...Glinda, I'm so sorry." And the guards dragged him away...

Of course, the way he said it, and if you hadn't seen it before, it could have been interpreted as Fiyero longingly saying his beloved's name before apologizing to Glinda.

Yeah. But I still got looks from the people sitting in front of me for going "Hee! Hee!" Fortunately I was sitting on the floor in the back so I could hide behind the lighting booth doorway.

I probably would have snorted out loud and then slapped my hand over my mouth to keep from laughing because, you know, that's the sort of thing I do if I realize someone messed up. Oops.

When she sang "Well, look at what 'well meant' did" she started flailing around, and as a result, the wig got all in her face. So she had to deliver "Let all Oz be agreed, etc" through the hair, trying to get it out of her face, and finally as she came downstage, on "I promise no good deed..." she just reached up in frustration and flung the hair away to finish the song.

In her speech Idina thanked the fans for a great year and someone yelled "i love you" fromthe balcony and she yelled back.. "i love you too, because i have a job!" it was cute...

and then she thanked the cast, old and new, and the producers, and the orchestra and crew. And then she talked about the equilty auction and donations. And then JLT talked aboutthe cookbook they were selling, and she was precious!!!!!!Soooo cute!!!!!

Oh, and Taye was in town yesterday...they went to dinner. He's so dam hot...
and FYI... Andrew Palermo needs a life!!!!!

A WICKED blooper from yesterday:
During 'Popular', the tube of lipstick fell off of the bed and rolled into the orchestra pit so J.LA had nothing to do during "...have to think of..." and instead she randomly started piling Idina's hair onto her head. It was hysterical.

Also, yesterday, at the end of the show when the make the BCEFA speech, they announced they would be selling new 'A Taste of "WICKED"' cookbooks. J.LA's recepie was 'Pink Goes Good With Green cake', and Idina's was 'Elpha-bagels'. Which according to her "Is how a Jewish girl eats" and then she did some ghetto hand thing. It was really really funny.
