HUNCHBACK IDEA - Quasi as Frollo's kid

What do you guys think of Quasimodo actually being the love child of Frollo and a Gypsy, which is the source of Frollo's hate for the Gypsies as he feels Quasi's mother tempted him, and stole his innocence, which resulted in him killing her accidentally in a rage as a punishment for his feelings, but agrees to take in Quasi as an attempt to redeem himself but he is still ashamed of him, and Frollo's hate of Esmeralda is derived from the fact that he is attracted to her the same way he was to Quasi's mother but refuses to sin again so he must get ride of her. I'm not saying that this is at all canon or even a head-canon but this idea came to me after watching the musical at Paper Mill and has since been on my mind as a sort of new innovative idea that would be interesting to watch, but I'm not entirely certain it would fit in the story, or even if I like it entirely myself. What do you think of that/would that even work in the context/plausibility of the story? I just kept thinking of it after I rewatched a Paper Mill bootleg since that has been the only attempt at making Frollo and Quasi blood related through Jehan which I kind of liked because it gave Frollo a deeper level in his connection to Quasi.

 

What I really guess is that I wonder if anyone else would be interested in a verison of Hunchback concerning this storyline. I doubt it would ever happen, and if it did, I feel it would be difficult or unneccessary to the heart of the story, but I am interested in seeing a new original musical version of Hunchback that includes the character of Gringoire, and one that brings out the original nature of Phoebus, not entirely as an antagonist like in the original story, as I feel multiple antagonists would be too much, but I think it'd be nice to see something new.

Well, at least it would simplify the Paper Mill / La Jolla plot some, which did not benefit from its attempt (a la Les Mis) to shoe-horn in more of the novel's storyline.

^That wasn't even a part of the novel, so their attempts failed.

-Quasi was abandoned by his mother

-Jehan was just a minor character who Quasi kills later on

So, I don't get why they rewrote the beginning. They should have stick to the movie's beginning
