Does anyone know where I can find a published copy of the libretto for Hair? Any version of the script would do, though the closer to the original the better.

It's published in an anthology called "Great Rock Musicals," edited by Stanley Richards.
The published version (which is in the "Great Rock Musicals" book and also published separately in paperback, though out of print) isn't exactly what played on Broadway. It's sort of a hybrid between the earlier off-Broadway version and what was eventually the Broadway version.
People have mistakenly claimed that the published script is the off-Broadway version, but there are some big differences between what played at the Public in '67 and what's in the script. "Aquarius" was originally in the middle of the second act, the show began with Mom and Dad singing "Don't Put It Down", "The Flesh Failures" hadn't been written yet, etc.
For the actual production script, you'd need to get a perusal from Tams-Witmark (or a copy from someone who did a production and kept theirs.)
Question, just out of curiosity--how did the libretto evolve over the course of the Broadway run? I know Ragni and Rado chagned a lot pre-Broadway and Rado has continued to make changes even in recent years, and now that I think of it I seem to recall there being changes between 1968 and 1971. What exactly were they?
