I do hope you're kidding with all this.

ALL of this has been covered for months when the DVD's release date was first announced (in August, I believe), along with new 2-CD Collector's Edition Film Soundtrack.

The DVD comes out in 12 days -- this isn't 'new' news.

NOTE: the numerous posts on this DVD release and 2-CD Collector's Edition Film Soundtrack seem to have vanished. There was a server problem a few weeks ago that deleted threads from August, which explains why all those hundreds of posts are no longer on here.

I love Hairspray but can we please stop doing all these special editions? Throw the deleted scenes on the disc and be done with it. Don't charge em $10 more because you include five scenes and a couple of promotional featurettes.

That was a great review! very much looking forward to the PIP feature.
