What a joke this was- a total waste of time. No one from the cast was interviewed just two of the producers.

For a film that's STILL shooting and which doesn't come out in theatres until late July 2007, the segment was more than adequate. For obvious reasons, limiting footage exposure (ESPECIALLY of Michelle Pfeisser), keeps things intriguing. Just read my signature. Their showing a few seconds of 'on location' filming of the "Run and Tell That" and "Welcome to the 60's" numbers (even Nikki Blonsky shimming a bit) is and was more than generous.

These are the same team that produced the film-version of CHICAGO, and look what the marketing and limited footage exposure did to THAT film.

'Nuff said.

PS: I still believe Dreamworks/Paramount Pictures' major faux pas is releasing the film soundtrack of DREAMGIRLS weeks before the film opens. CHICAGO's film soundtrack was released about 3 weeks AFTER the film's release, thus creating excitement for the film first since no one knew how most of the songs/numbers sounded like or how they were being performed in the film, etc.

limiting footage exposure (ESPECIALLY of Michelle Pfeisser),

Is she selling Zoloft in the movie?

That was so much better than any cast interview! I felt like I was wathing a DVD featurette. Very nicely presented. I love Breakfast with the Arts- it's so much better than anything those news magazines shows (ET, Access Hollywood) can put together.

Some great rehearsal footage of 'Welcome to the 60's.'
The Dynamites decked out in 'Pinky' work ensembles. Their voices sound warm and fun.

The staging for 'Run and Tell That' looks great (The triangle formation with Lil Inez's solo, is a great way to showcase her.) The song acts as a great scene transition from school to Motormouth's.

From this segment alone you can see how much Nikki glows, she's effervescent - I cant wait for actual film footage.

Taylor Parks as Lil Inez, wow, she has a fabulous voice... It almost reminds me of Michael Jackson's voice back with the Jackson 5.

thanks A&E!
