First... it is Jenifer Lewis and NOT Jennifer Lewis.
No, they do not come out of the stage door. They leave thru a private tunnel that connects to the kitchen at Gallagher's a few doors down on W. 52nd Street (towards Broadway). This tunnel was created in the 1930's and its been a staple with the Alvin Theatre (now the Neil Simon Theatre) and used by many cast members who want a quick exit.
If you head over to Gallagher's and wait outside, the odds are more in your favor to catch them as they are leaving the front of the restaurant.
During the show's phenomenal previews period, hords of celebrities used this same exit routine after the show.

VERY VERY interesting. New York City if full of loop holes.
I went last week and both of them came out of the stage door and signed.

George Wendt comes out a lot, I've gotten him on more than one occassion at the stagedoor, so I guess it depends on the day.
I've yet to see Jenifer Lewis go on so I can't speak for her.
I really need to get out and see this show again haha i love it so mcuh

Has anyone seen Jenifer Lewis? How is she in the role? How is she singing "I Know Where I've Been?" How does she differ from the unmistakable Darlene Love?
