Sad news - A friend of mine bought me the Hairspray "behind the scenes book" for Christmas and she said she got it at the Dollar Store... for $1... I'm VERY happy I have the book now, but very sad that it was on sale for only a dollar.
Has anyone else seen this great book for such a low price?

1$???
Why someone would tell you how much they spend on your present is beyond me- epsecially being that it was a dollar.
Are you sure it was only 1$? Have you read it? Are there missing words/pages??
Try scanning it and I'm sure you'll get some comments here.
It was full price at the theater bookshop by Phantom....
LMAO..I got mine for a dollar...it made me way sad and way happy at the same time...
and I gave one to a friend too....lol
$35 book for a $1? can't beat that...
BTW, it's the authentic book...it's the same book that is usually $35...just...at a cheap store for a dollar :)

Where did you get it, if it's still available for $1?

Yea, now I am interested!
A 35$ book for 1$? I think I like it...
Where is it being sold? I'll send someone 5$ to get me this *supposedly 35$* book for 1$!!!
Got mine for $2.50 at half.com. They have fairly inexpensive Aida books also.
They have more too. Just got it last week.

Alright...seriously- this book cannot be 35$ and be sold for 1$.
Can someone send me a link or a picture or something. My curiousity is majorly peaked.
I guess I should wait till Wicked: The Grimmerie becomes that cheap.
I bought the Aida book in a Dollar Tree for a dollar. There was a whole stack of them. I should have bought more.
Yeah, I got mine at "Deals" out here...my dance teacher told me about it!
I totally would have bought a gagillion of them, and sent them all to whomever wanted one..but they only had two! one which I gave to my friend, and mine which actually has a rip in the top cover thing
If I ever find myself in that store again (which is doubtful :) ) and they have more, I'll buy like 10 of 'em ....

Will somebody please tell me what they are talking about?
Where did you get it?
How did you find out about it?
When did you get it?
Can you post a link so I can see what you are all talking about?
THANK YOU!

At Barnes and Noble, over the summer by me they had 3 of them for 5.99 each. And they are very repectable book distributors. It was also onsale at their site too. I guess I got lucky they had some here

Stephanie- Thank you, I bow to you my dear. *Bows*
Now, how can I get it by paying 1-5$?
When did you get it?
Do you know if it still available for that kind of cheap price?
My cousin almost paid the $35 for Son of a Witch. Umm...yeah, no. I mean, it was an ok book...but not for $35. *shakes head*
Though, I did see several people shell out the money for the books when I went to see Wicked.

Not a problem, I hate when I'm ignored after numerous posts :)
Last time I looked, Ebay had it for really cheap, or if you have a random dollar store by you (like Dollar tree, Deals, maybe Dollar general)
or, on Amazon.com (the link I posted) they have "new and used" from .80 cents, so maybe some of those people have ones in great condition...so you'll only really be paying for shipping (I got a Aida book from a used seller originally $40 I got for $8 total and it was in GREAT condition)...
Hope that helps!

Thanks Stephanie- you are a star!
I tend not to buy things offline because I am anal about that and scared someone will find me or that it won't be in good condiction....yes, you get the point.
There are no dollar stores around here that I know of sadly. But this weekend will begin my search!
Thanks!
haha, AWWW Thanks!
and btw i didn't answer, I got my book in early december, the 7th?? around then, so about a month ago...
If I see any i'll be sure to pick one up and offer it to you:)
But I do suggest going with on on Amazon, I have YET to be disappointed by on the used sellers. If they say it's in new condition, it will be. But I completely understand why you wouldn't want to...

Stephanie- if you see one, PLEASE pick it up for me. Anything less than 6$ would be P-E-R-F-E-C-T!! I'll pay for shipping...
I'll pay for your gas to get the to the store and back. I'll worship you! *whoops*- that's only Idina I do that for. j/k j/k!!! *rolls eyes at what I may have caused*
Thank you, I really do appreciate it.
