I hesitate to post this after the movie preview disaster, but TRU in Times Square is having the Hairspray movie cast signing their dolls on Tues., July 17th. It said only the first 225 would meet the cast and get an autograph on their purchased doll and get a free movie poster. Call the store for details. Attend at your own risk!!! Although I'd love to see the cast, I'm avoiding this one. If anyone goes--and gets in--please post.

p.s. Travolta was not on the advertisement (I saw it at Times Square TRU), but the other movie kids (including Zac Efron, etc.) were advertised as being there. Again, please call the store for better info. Peace and Love,

Anakela, thansk for posting better info. They were still advertising the event, in the store, as of last night with no mention on the signage that it was sold out.

Posted: 7/17/07 at 12:38amYeah, it sounds like you get one ticket when you buy one doll, and one ticket gets you into the event, I get that part. But how are tickets sold-out already, when the event isn't until tomorrow- unless they've been selling dolls/tickets ahead of time? And it's not just buy a doll tomorrow to attend the event tomorrow?
