Anyone know any specifics about the Feb. 11 call for the Hairspray movie at the Hilton theatre?? I don't know the times, or what to prepare. Hope to see you all there!

I believe when they advertise auditions for the show, they ask for a 60's era rock song.

I know there is one in Chicago for the show... like today, I think. I also haven't heard anything.
Uch, On www.hairspraymovie.com it just talks about how to submit yourself, not about the open call.

Where did you hear about the open call?
Well, as performers I think that it is essential that we find out audition information. Technically we are Broadway obsessed in one form or another, we all belong to Broadwayworld.com. Anyway, I was just trying to find out the audition information being as alot of people on BWW usually know what is going on. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way PJ.
I find out about the call on 1010 wins in the car. Then I googled and found some information on playbill.com and in the Baltimore sun. However, they don't mention times or what to prepare.

Well, I'm going to be at the New York one hopefully. My mom says she's fine with taking me.

Exactly how many posts do you have going regarding this open call? On all three boards, of course?
Look, I don't know what your problem is. This is a big deal and no one can find exact information on this audition anywhere. So yeah, I posted on all three boards just in case someone had info checked one and not another. Isn't it a little sad that you checked that I posted on all three boards? Look dude, I'm not gonna get into a stupid fight with some kid I don't know over finding information. If you don't like what I post, don't read them.

I think it's sad that everytime I browed each board this evening, I've found this exact same post on each. I wasn't looking for it.
