there really wasnt anything different. chester said you got me all shook up during run and tell that but he said that to her on her last performance in april. jackie hoffmans ad-lib was funny but i dont remember it word for word.. matt morrison was there :)

Well, 'Run and Tell That' as fabulous, "You got me all shook up!" was the highlight of it's finale. There wasn't an announcement made at the end, which suprised me as like, half the cast seemed to be leaving. Jenn was, as usual, fantastic, and I can't wait to see her starring in 'All Shook Up'! Jackie was HILLARIOUS, she sang us all a bit o' 'Bombay Dreams', now, I've seen the show... Jackie. Was. Better. HAHA! Really, she had me cracking up.

Jenn was GREAT as always.It was a great crowd tonight.Very into everything.Peter Matthew Smith went on as Corny and was very good.Nice to see him in that part.Had heard much about him doing it before.In the Audience were Matthew Morrison,Dick Latessa,Aja Maria, Annette O`Toole, Marc Shaiman,and Katie Leonard. Tracy was excellent.In one part when Link says Amber Go...everyone started to applaud and Tracy turned and glared at the audience.(Tracy-as in Tracy Jai Edwards).It was great.Jackie said is this not the BEST show on Broadway.Well just so you feel that you are not missing anything I will sing you a little bit from Bombay Dreams...She sang a little ...was Great!!!Sadly she will also very soon be gone.Chester sang ...OH Penny ,YOU GOT ME ALL SHOOK UP to Jenn...The entire show was fantastic...Sad to see so many go...Wish them all the best...Shayna Steele did not come back out after intermission.Hope She was OK...Nothing was said about that either.No announcements of any kind.

Yea it was great as always.. Jenn.. amazinh I love her as Penny.. I'm gonna miss her much! Tracy Jai was very funny (as said before)during the "Link come" "Amber go" lines. The whole show was fun and sooo many people where there to see the cast off.. a lot of old cast memebers and also all the big people in charge (Mark O'brian, Margo Lions. Marc ex...). I'm not really all that suprised they didn't make an anouncment.. well they didn't last time Jenn left and I bet if they do it again ever it'll be Marys last day but thats about it... because I guess they feel they need to draw the line somewhere so since it was mostly none OBC membere leaving they didn't talk.. but they had a party! well it was a lot of fun, I'm gonna miss the show they way it has been!

I was there as well. I thought the audience was kind of flat, at least from where I was sitting. When Tracy said something about fixing the election, it seemed like not many people reacted. The friend I was with mentioned the same thing as well, like, didn't anyone get that joke. I also noticed that Shayna did not come back for the 2nd act.

I was surprised nothing was said at the end of the performance either. It was definitely worth taking the train up from DC to see it yet again. It was nice to see everyone on stage clap for Michael as he made his entrance during "You Can't Stop the Beat".

I think Carly was amazing yesterday. I have always liked her, but she seems to have grown into the role so much since the last time I saw her (July).

I've said this before, but it's worth repeating. The ensemble of this show is fantastic!!! I absolutely love this show.

Amber glared at the audience, because the audience was responding to Link telling her no he wasn't going with her. Tracy Jai's timing was perfect and the audience got a kick out of her reaction. This is the first time I ever saw her do it and thought it was very funny.

You are right Dottie...Seen the show 14 times with my family and never seen Tracy do that.Similar to the look she gives to "Tracy Turnblad" when she is told she has acne of the soul...
Her timing was perfect.She will be missed.Tracy was a great Amber...Looked for you...dead center in the first row of the Mezz.Wearing a top that had 5 or 6 stripes on it...Was that you?

The role of Penny for the next few weeks. This well (10/05-10/10) Hollie Howard will be Penny then she is leaving the show on the 10th and next week (10/12-10/17) Michelle Kittrell will be playing Penny. Then she leaves the show on the 17th and on the 19th the new Penny, Tracy Miller (currently in Dracula) will take over the role.

That was me, striped shirt, dead center of the front mezzanine. I didn't bothering leaving the area during intermission because I didn't want to climb over everybody to get out of the row.

Thanks for checking. Glad you enjoyed the show. I have never experienced a show like this before that leaves one so happy. The energy of the cast is infectious!!!

I saw you standing for all of the intermission.Then after the show you walked right past my daughters and I when we were standing out near the stage door waiting to talk to someone...Wondered if it was you but did not want to say something ...just in case it was not...
It is the best show on broadway as Jackie said...Now we will be waiting for "All Shook Up".
So glad you were able to get up to see it. I`m sure it was worth the trip...We have never left Hairspray without feeling great.

Oh, I'm sorry you didn't say anything. You should have just said "Dottie". The friend I was with would have gotten a kick out of it, as well as I. I explained the whole story to her about how I got the name Dottie.

Let me know when you're going back to see the show. I think I might give it some time in order for the new replacements to gel with the company.

I am SO glad that Michelle gets to go out with a bang, wowing everyone as Penny.
