Holy Mother Lovin' Crap . . . the full version of "Run and Tell That" is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I was literally dancing along on the couch while watching that. If the rest of the movie is that good, then we have a hit on our hands ladies and gentlemen.

Posted: 6/13/07 at 7:36pmWow Zac is awful. His singing voice is so obviously been altered. It sounds half human and half computer generated. Not to mention is acting is awful. I have a feeling this film might go down in flames. Even though I want it to be good. And I want it to do well.

Am I the only one who think this movie looks terrible?
I did kind of find the original show very overrated and heavy handed with all the civil rights stuff, but atleast it had Fierstien. I mean Travolta looks like he wouldn't get into a drag club on a bad night. Could they have atleast cast someone who looked somewhat convincing as a cross dresser?

What exactly do you think the show is about? Have you seen the original movie?
The show is about breaking barriers and not judging people by their size or color of their skin...

But come one. I laughed my ass off the first time I watched that number where they sing about the new day of equality or whatever...
There are ways to present these subjects that are timely and fresh. The way Hairspray dealt with them felt about 60 years too late. It's a message of equality meant to appeal to middle age white soccer moms and I for one didn't buy it.

i went to their main hairspray page and it leads me back to that nonfunctioning one.
Also, the full length R&TT, am i suppoesd to go to BET.com? i dont see it in the original page you linked.

I think the movie looks like it could be a lot of fun. Hopefully Travolta comes off better in the film, but in the clips - he sucks.
Someone will have to explain to me why they hired this has been , who has made bomb after bomb after bomb, who only could play one part well, to do this movie. Lets face it - Travolta had personality, but can't act.
Film looks good anyway.
