So I recently purchased tickets to Hamilton but part of my group cannot attend, I am NOT looking to scalp and am just looking to get my money back. I was ready to put my tickets up for resale and there is no option to "Sell" my tickets on TicketMaster. Does anyone know anything about this? :)

If you are really just trying not to lose $, you probably could sell them here pretty easily!
Your problem has come up before, but I cannot remember any reasoning.

I am confused why the resale function of the website is not workings as it would be easy to go through with the transaction.

Check your order details. They are putting delays on the tickets anymore, I believe, so that if scalpers buy tickets, they have to hold on to them for months before they are able to sell them. There should be information about a delivery delay, if that's the case.
