Hello! I was wondering what time does the lottery start for Saturday Matinee performances, As I checked the website it said lotteries happen 2 and a half hours before curtain, I also heard on the boards that for matinees lotteries happen an hour and a half before curtain. So which one is correct?

All lotteries start 2.5 hours before showtime.

As someone who has been many, many, many times to the Saturday lotto, it begins at 11:30am, since the show is at 2pm. The lines are long but move quickly. The cut-off for putting your name in is 12 noon, and they give you a two-minute warning beforehand.

If the line is still not done entering in time, they will wait... so if you're on line, you're fine.
