Sorry to treat this board like a selling site but I'm a bit desperate! :) My name is Jo, I live in Melbourne Australia and I bought a REALLY expensive and decent seat to Hamilton this coming Tuesday 12th April on Tickpick. It was a gift for my friend who is in NYC for Tribeca film festival and I wanted to surprise him. Turns out, he has another event on that night and I'm DESPERATE to sell this ticketso I can get another one. The seat is Rear Mez Row B, Centre. I bought the ticket for $800 - I can provide you with the invoice to prove it! :)
I know I'm going to make a huge loss on this but onsellers are sellers similar seats for more than $700. So I was hoping I could get $500. But I'm also willing to negotiate.
I figured there might be some Hamilton nuts like me here who is willing to pay for a decent seat.
If ANYONE is keen and wants to make me an offer for the ticket, please email me at jkwarrener@live.com.au. I can forward you more details there and maybe we can negotiate something?
no offense to your friend but what how could they refuse and EIGHT HUNDRED dollar ticket to see Hamilton. very sad. plus I don't think any friend of mine would ever spend almost a thousand dollars on me.
"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."
I've put it back on Tickpick for $490. And I'd get 440 of that. Fingers crossed. Its actually the cheapest ticket listed on there now. Its second row rear mez and most are selling above 700. Kind of nuts. And yes it was a nutty decision on my part. but just a very special surprise for my friend. I majorly screwed up. But I'll bare the loss. <sigh>
You might want to secretly contact some concierges at the big nyc hotels to try and get a rich client. How you would determine his/her" split" is up to you.

BWW log on problems forever. Yeesh.

You didn't screw up. That was a very nice thing to do for your friend. I hope it works out for you!
My friend sold two rear mezz on Ticketmaster for $600 each, so you might have a chance at getting most of your money back. Have you told your friend about it though? I'd ditch almost everything to go see Hamilton again.
"Mr Sondheim, look: I made a hat, where there never was a hat, it's a Latin hat at that!"
But that's Ticketmaster! Out of all the reseller sites, I'd say Ticketmaster is the most reliable, then stubhub, then the others. I personally have never heard of tickpick and would be a bit skeptical buying a ticket for $500 to sit in rear mezz but that's just me.
I think it's great what you did for your friend and I hope you're able to sell the ticket! Good luck!
Since it is a gift to your friend, give it to him/her and let him/her give the ticket or sell the ticket to someone in nyc in person?

I've bought from them before. They're great because they list tickets at the full price, including all hidden fees. Its actually my favourite onseller.

Thanks so much. Tho at this stage I'm getting pretty desperate. I hope I can even sell it for 300. It's hard not being in the country Oh well.
Again, if anyone wants or knows of anyone, please hit me up!
I think the poster who suggested you give the ticket to your friend to take with them to NYC may have a good idea. I'm sure there will be people in the city who would buy the ticket. Or - who knows - maybe he can find a way to ditch the industry event and go. Just a thought!
