Couldn't find another post on here re: Thanksgiving weekend, but it seems there are Premium Orchestra seats being sold by Ticketmaster for $999 each. These shows had all been previously sold out as of two weeks ago - they must have held them back?

It's possible these seats had been held back for some reason and then not needed.
Or Ticketmaster investigated the buyer and found that the person violated the terms of service by buying too many.
But the price is pretty high! There's got to be a backlash at some point.

I looked at a performance with the seats left and I don't think it's Ticketmaster looked into someone. There was at least 15 seats there for $998. I doubt someone bought 15 seats at that price. But then again who knows with Hamilton tickets. I'm not quite sure, but wasn't thanksgiving week part of the release where tickets were $500 for premium. I may be totally wrong, but if so maybe they held back some tickets so they can sell them for a higher since it's thanksgiving break.

There's seats for the dates below but they are all in that Premium $998 price. I don't even think the tourists will bite!

I thought the premium seat price went up to $849 for the block starting Jan 31, 2017. Is $998 the highest retail price they've had?

Buy three tickets, sell two for $1500, see Hamilton for free.

I think you are right Castle. Highest price from the theater I have seen so far. Releasing these tix now def will bring down the resale prices too, more supply with same demand.....

I also noticed there were nice seats available (with/without Amex code) for Mar2017 at $849 per. Yike$!
