Hi!
Im taking my daughter to see Hamilton (its a surprise and shes going to have her mind completely blown). Torn between Upper Box F (house left) or Front Mezz Row C or D. Price is comparable. Mezz slightly more. This is her first Broadway show. I appreciate any input. Thanks!

I saw Hamilton Front Mezz A and front orchestra. LOVED Mezz. You can see the whole stage and take in all the choreo. The closer orchestra seats allowed me a better view of the actors' faces, but I personally preferred the whole stage view from Mezz.

I have't done Box seats at Richard Rodgers, but you will likely have a better view of the actors, but almost certainly an obstructed view of the stage. Personally, I have never sat in a box that I enjoyed. I only do Box seats if they are the last seats available, or I'm with someone who has serious leg room issues.

But like all things, it is clearly a personal preference.

Agreed. Front Mezz all the way. I really enjoyed watching the company of actors and choreography ALL around the stage. Like in “Right Hand Man” and “Eye of the Hurricane.”

Front mezz vote, here too...i dont like the upper boxes....youll see too much of the tops of heads.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I’ve sat in both a box and the first few rows of the mezzanine at the Rodgers. The box is a fun experience but the view is nowhere near as good as the mezzanine. Def mezz seats are better. It’s a tiny theater and the view is good everywhere, but you miss a bit when you are in a box. Have fun!

We did front Mezz and it was a perfect view. Definitely recommend going with that.
