How long will he stay with the show when he returns in November?

When did he leave SPAMALOT? I have tickets for mid-October, and assumed the entire "original" cast would be there... Boy, the "stars" don't hang around long, do they?

He's off filming his show, Huff, for a few months. He's coming back around Thanksgiving, I'm pretty sure.

In interviews, he's actually said that he'd like to stay with the show for a long time - coming back after leaving, an in-and-out type of thing, so to speak. A good thing, because he was absolutely phenomenal.

I'm going in July, but I'd like to get a ticket for maybe March---however I would like to see him in the role (not that I have anything against Alan, loved him in Dodgeball!) Think that would be safe?
I know he's doing Huff---one of my favorite shows!

jmark- he left a while ago, but i saw the show a week ago and the guy who took over his part, tudyk, was really great, so no worries, in my opinion.

I heard that he was leaving in July! So when is he leaving? I'd like to try and see the OBC!

I think he's already gone. His name isn't listed above the title and Alan Tudyk is already listed in the cast as Lancelot.

He left right after the Tony's, and willl be back in November. I think I heard somewhere that Tim Curry and David Hyde Pierce have contracts that go through December (but may extend). So your best bet may be December!

Hank Azaria was funny in the show, though. If you absolutely must see the show (and I don't recommend that you do), try to see him in it.
