John Kander is the handsomest living Broadway musical composer and a great gentleman. He has written some outstanding songs in his many decades of composing for the theatre and films. I have had the pleasure of meeting him once a long time ago and then corresponding with him for several years. Unfortunately, we have lost touch; but I still have fond memories of our previous association.

John, may you live many more healthy years ahead!
