I just posted this on the Off-Topic Board, and thought it made sense to move it over here:

Ah. Another New Year's Eve. Possibly my least favorite holiday. Dislike forced revelry. Frequently have to be on call for work (like tonight). Husband's away rock climbing in some Southern state or another. I don't like crowds and and quite happy to be home with my elderly mom who is visiting from Ohio, am doing my best to hang in until midnight, and plan on being asleep by 12:02.

So for anyone of like mind who is keeping a low profile this evening at home ...and online...I wish you all an excellent new year.

Due to my unit managers's utter incompetence ( the Peters Principle!)NO senior staff were scheduled to work tonight so as I am a freaking saint (LOL) I came in to cover for the sake of my patients. Here's to better manangement .... of everything my unit, my city my province my country & the world! ( end of rant)
Really tho just cherish what you have and may you all have continuing health happiness & success. *MWAH*
