I guess it is still not going to hit broadway anytime soon.
But, I was looking for a recording and found this...
http://www.londontheatre.co.uk/
Harmony Con 225126 SCR 04 Manilow Sussman
Which lists a cast recording. But, there is no mention of it anywhere including the on the show website:
http://www.harmonymusical.com/
So, does it exist?
Is it for sale?
Do publishers assign recording number before it is actually recorded?
Or has it been recorded, but just not released?

No interest in this musical?
I loved the Comedian Harmonists movie and listen to a CD of their music quite often. It seems it would be perfect for a musical, the story is so dramatic and with the option for bringing in their own songs.
I heard some songs from this musical on a Manilow record called "Scores".
I enjoyed the music quite a bit.

I ordered the Manilow CD yesterday.
But, it will be like the difference between the Paul Simon songs from "The Capeman" and the actual cast recording.
I will be interested if he has 5 part harmony on the songs.
He does. It's all him, but he does the harmony.
I think you'll like it Erin, it's really surprisingly good.
Let us know.
The arrangements done for the "Scores" CD are not the same ones used in the show. With the sidelining of the show and the resulting legal battles, the show has not come to Broadway as quickly as planned, but things should get rolling again soon. They had hoped for a 2008 opening but with a shortage of theaters and the fact that they now want to go out of town again, since there has been such a delay getting the show to NYC, it is hard to see how they will get it to New York in 2008. We'll see. My personal favorites from the score: Stars in the Night and the title song.
