My eye hasn't really been on this show until recently thus I don't know the ways of getting an affordable ticket... Assuming there is one. Are there any ways? If there are let me know. I would like to see it with the OBC, so that gives me until March if my memory serves correctly. Maybe it'll pop up on TDF

What's "affordable" for you? This is the second-hottest ticket on Broadway, after all. The $40 tickets are pretty much gone, but there are a decent number of $95 tickets available in the coming months.
A new block goes on sale on September 27, though, so you can try to snag the cheapest of that lot as well.
You can also try the TodayTix Friday Forty each Friday morning for $40 tickets for the upcoming week. It is pretty competitive, but even randomly chosen losers get a discount code.
Wouldn't bet on TDF for this one for a few decades ![]()

This is an interesting show in terms of box office sales because they use dynamic pricing. It seems to me they’d rather do their own discounting than give or offer tickets to TDF/TKTS.

Pricing for this show is extremely weird. Not sure what is affordable to you, but there is 95$ (per part) tickets for most of the shows, as someone has already pointed out. I know even that may seem steep since you have to x2 (per person) but it's important to look at it as 95, not the full amount, because you are essentially seeing two full plays after all.
I have seen people manage to get 40$ tickets while lurking the ticket thread on here. This is pretty rare though. I feel as though you'd have to check the boards here religiously, as well as ticketmaster. You'd also have to be pretty flexible on days.
Probably your best bet would be to enter the lottery, along with the person who you would take (you should each enter yourselves). Assuming you BOTH also choose to share on social media (currently they let you share on twitter and facebook), that's a 6x chance in total. However, I've been trying my luck for months and nothing, so I'm not sure how great even that is.
