Oh, man! That board is so British! I am twitching so hard whenever I read about how someone "was sat" in this section or they "were sat" in that row. I can't take this blatant abuse of grammar! Lol.
Darn dialectal colloquialisms. *shakes fist*
I am also reading that entire board in a generic English/British accent, anyone else? :)

I'm Australian and the British use of 'sat' instead of 'sitting' drives me up the wall too!

The reaction would be similar if a British theater mania comes to read this board. I believe there are many already.

If it's any consolation, some British English speakers also despair at "was sat"! It drives me mad. Then again, those American English speakers who offer "I could care less" also grate on my reading-ears.
