Harvey Fierstein for Best Actor Nomination?

Do you guys think Harvey will be nominated for Best Actor, for A Catered Affair?

I say this because his name is before the title on the marquee for the show. And I believe this designates a "Best Leading" nomination, if anything.

If you all recall, Debra Monk last season was nominated for Best Leading Actress, when she was clearly a Supporting Actress, as the Drama Desk Awards showed. But her name was above the title on the marquee, so she was nominated for Best Leading Actress.

Any thoughts on this?

I doubt it -- the producers'll probably petition for him to be nominated as Best Featured Actor. And the Tony Awards committee usually go for that kind of thing. The Drama Desks have always done their own thing, though. (See Joanna Gleason in Into the Woods)

Also... are you talking about Debra Monk? 'cause it took me a while to figure out that tangled mess of a third paragraph.
