Posted: 12/11/04 at 12:46amI searched but couldn't find it...does anyone know for sure what day Harvey is going to be starting as Tevye in Fiddler. I want to buy tickets now but I'm scared that if I buy them for a date when he won't be there yet. Thanks.

Posted: 12/11/04 at 1:07amI was just looking at the Cage opening night pictures on broadway.com, and there's a shot of Harvey and the Fiddler director. The caption says, "Fiddler on the Roof director David Leveaux with new Tevye Harvey Fierstein, who starts performances January 4."
