She is not listed on the new website. Just wondering if anyone knows what she is up to. I did search the boards, but nothing came up that I could find.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

She was doing a limited run in another show plus in all honesty, I really don't think she liked being ensemble any longer... And the fact she didn't like us fans. But that's just an opinion. Don't hate me.

I seem to be in the minority, but Anika Larsen was my favorite of the ensemble members in Xanadu (not to take anything away from any of the others who are all wonderful). Did anyone see her in Serenade? I would have liked to make it into the city to see it, but I wasn't able to.
I thought Anika was wonderful and has a beautiful voice. She was nothing but gracious to me when I met her. Some of the fanadus can be annoying, so I can't blame her for having reactions to them if she did.

guymy13, I saw Serenade and it was a wonderful show. I didn't really know anything about it before I saw it other than Anika and Robb Sapp from Zanna, Don't and Luis Salgado and Joshua Henry from In the Heights were involved. That was enough to sell it for me. The music and choreography were *sick*. The book, written by Rachel Sheinkin of Spelling Bee, was, oddly enough, probably the weakest aspect. Anika was great. I also thought she was great in Xanadu (and Zanna, Don't!).
just checked the site! on the myspace though, it said Ken Nelson was part of the show (i'm assuming as an understudy for Danny/Zeus though can anyone confirm that). was he just contracted for a short time?
Thanks for the review Andergoat. I'm glad to hear that the show was great, and it does sound like a very talented cast and crew. Of course that makes me regret having missed it more, it's too bad that it was such a limited run. Thanks again :)
