Has anyone rushed Amelie yet?

I'm going up to New York next week on Wednesday and am hoping to get tickets for Amelie. I heard a couple people say it SHOULD be easy to rush but I haven't heard anything from people who have rushed it. Does anyone know how many tickets are available and how good the seats are?

The last time I rushed Amelie was March 18th. I have no idea what's changed since it opened. I got there at 8:40am. I was 7th in line. By the time the box office opened, the line was about 40-50 people. I got front row orchestra left side for the evening performance. The people next to me that night were also in the rush line, they were number 14 in line. By the time they got to the window, all they had left were single tickets. My seat was incredible!! I had tried rushing it the Monday prior. I got there at 10:10am, and rush was completely sold out.

A friend of mine rushed it last Sunday. She arrived at 11, BO opened at noon. She got 5th row center orch. Since the reviews on Monday weren't good, I don't think it will be difficult. It has numerous dates posted on tdf.

Here's the original Amélie rush thread:

And here is one that was started two days ago...

But since everyone appears to be replying here I might as well join...

I was under the impression that reviews would make rush easier, but it doesn't seem to be the case, at least for the weekend that is... stopped by at 2pm today and they didn't have rush for tonight anymore. They did offer balcony for $49 though...

I'll most likely try a bit earlier tomorrow and report back...

Since someone mentioned balcony seats, I REALLY don't recommend them. The view was horrible and there is NO room between you and the seat next you at all. I've seen the show 5 times, and anywhere except the balcony will give you a great view!!

I'm hoping to get the matinee on Wednesday but arrive in NY at eleven which is an hour after the box office opens. Do you think that since it's a weekday that the demand for tickets will be lower?

i would love some insight here as well - i'm going to try to rush on thursday, but likely won't be able to get to the box office until 11 or 12. does anyone have experience with mid-day rush on weekdays? thanks!

I rushed this past Wednesday for the matinee. Got to the box office around 12:30 and got Orchestra C 14. It was labeled as partial view and was all the way to the side, but I didn't feel like I missed much of anything.
