I think practically every theatre is haunted--isn't that how the superstition goes? When I taught theatre we did a whole lesson on superstitions and theatre-related ghost stories.
The story of Olive at the New Amsterdam is one of the most famous Broadway ghosts. There was an article on Playbill about her and some other Broadway ghosts. Here is the link:
http://www.playbill.com/features/article/93486.html There also lots of stories of ghosts in the Drury Lane Theatre in London--as a matter there was an episode of Haunted Places on the Travel Channel about them. Here is a link to one account of those stories:
http://theshadowlands.net/famous/drury.htm The local community theatre I perform at is supposedly haunted as well. The theatre is housed inside what used to be the historic First Baptist Church. The ghost is the supposed mischeivous spirit of a former member who either is upset that the church is now a theatre or is just one picky theatregoer!
If you like ghost stories or haunted places check out the site I linked below. It has lots of interesting places on it. Check under haunted places index and then click on your home state. Who knows there may be something listed from your hometowns!
