i'm a homecare worker and work with 6 adults with mental dissabilities (downe syndrome and such). One time i decided to indulge them in some culture and invited them to see a production of 'the sound of music' in which i was playing maria.
The INSTANT they saw me- all i heard was:
"OMIGOD! LOOK ITS ALLY! HI ALLY! WOW LOOK SHE'S SINGING! AALLLYYYY!"
This carried on throughout the whole song...when i kissed the captain....when i fought with the captain....basically through the whole show.
They liked it though :)
edit: i suppose that I wasn't the annoying audience member...although i DID initiate it

Posted: 2/1/06 at 7:38pmOk... I was seeing a truely awful middle school production of the Sound of Music last weekend and couldn't focus on the show so was watching audience members. I saw something particularily funny and doubled over with silent laughter. For a good 15 minutes I was laughing til I was just about crying. I'm just glad I stayed silent.
