Have any Avenue Q cast members extended their contracts?

I'm going to see the show in July and I was curious if any of the cast members have extended their contracts...or if anyone has said they are not. I understand everyone but Barrett's contract is over in June. Anyone know anything? Thanks in advance!

Their contracts expire July 3rd actually. Not sure if any of them renewed...

No official announcement has been made of anyone's departure from the show so it can be assumed that they are renewing.

All the fanclub knows is that Steph told a fan, in a letter, that her last show would be on July 3rd. No other word has come of that so we'll have to wait and see.

Do they usually make an announcement this early in time if they're going to depart? That's so sad that Steph is leaving...I won't be catching her again before she leaves.

I was originally planning a trip for next week, but I would have only been able to go for about 2 days so we changed it to July.

We are all sad that Stephanie unofficial announced that she's leaving, but we wish her the best and if her role goes to Jen Barnhart or Aymee Garcia, the show is in good hands

I was lucky enough to catch Aymee fill in for Jennifer the night I saw it-and she was great! Has Jennifer gone on as Kate Monster/Lucy? For some reason...I can't see either one of those women going on as the characters...kinda weird. Their "Bad Idea Bear" character voices will stick with me forever...haha

I've seen Aymee go on for Kate/Lucy and she is FANTASTIC (caps included). Her Lucy was like Mae West with a hot Ethel Merman belt and her Kate was absolutely adorable and lovable, but also with a very strong voice. I also saw Jen do Kate's part in "It Sucks to be Me" at Broadway on Broadway last year and she did a great job

They are all great.
Stephanie is my favorite.
I love Jen, she is very friendly and her Ms. Thistletwat is hysterical. Kind of reminds me of Dollypoop.

Corine, don't believe Hopeful Kate just because she said what you want to hear. All the news the club has been hearing, even from Stephanie's mouth herself, states that she probably isn't going to renew.

She's been on 11 and a half times. I've never seen her in the part (except at the Our Time gala) or Aymee (except at Broadway on Broadway). All 10 times I've seen the show Stephanie has been in it, not that I'm complaining. Come to think of it... Jen's never been out when I've seen it either. Neither has Jordan...

I have seen the show six times and all six times Stephanie was in.
I also saw countless award show performances with them and Broadway in Bryant Park and Broadway on Broadway.
Jen went in and so did Amyee at Broadway on Broadway.
They were great. I love the whole cast. I just adore Stephanie and hope she stays for a long time.
She is the best.

I love her, too. But the woman has her career to think about. She's been with the show since it's conception. Most of them have the desire to get back into the television puppetry world. They've been doing some while in the show, but not as much as they used to. Leaving the show would give them the opportunity to try out for new television shows or shoot movies outside of NY. I doubt she will be with the show much longer. She should be happy though. She had a very healthy run and could always return to the show in the future.

She still does Sesame Street (Curly Bear) and many other characters. She is very talented. They all are.
I wish her all the best. I just don't want her to leave (she is remarkable and nice, a great combination and she gives a great interview)
