Have you ever played the same role twice, or been in a musical or play more than once?

I played Doody in Grease twice...
Not quite sure why I put myself through that more than once, but still. :)

My sister's done "Sound of Music," "Annie," and "Once Upon A Mattress" twice and has played different roles each time. I live vicariously through her sometimes, LOL.

I've played the Reed 2 book for West Side Story twice--I would do that "part" a million times if I had the chance.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

I've been the MC in Cabaret three times, I recently was offered the chance to direct a small production of the show and almost hung up the phone on the person who offered this to me. Love Cabaret but can't have anything to do with that show again.
I have been part of the ensemble in Chicago and I played Billy in a different production too.
And my favorite role that I will play as many times as anyone asks me to is Giorgio in Passion, I have also been in two productions of this show and it is amazing to see what different directors can do with the material. The directions I got for one production were almost opposite to the ones I got for the other. Gotta love the theater.

I've played piano in the pit for Into the Woods 3 times. 2 times they overlapped. I drove to a high school production for rehearsals in the afternoon, then drove to a theatre in a diff. city for performances that night. That was a crazy week!

Unfortunately, Bye Bye Birdie twice. Ugh. Once as Suzie and once as Ursula Merkle.
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife

I've done Godspell...well, only counting the times I was IN it, 3 times, 2 of those three times I sang Peggy in By My Side.
If I show you the darkness I hold inside, will you bring me to light?

Funny--in the course of like, nine months or something, I ended up doing two productions of "West Side Story" (both times as Lt. Schrank), and two productions of "HMS Pinafore" (first in the ensemble, then as Sir Joseph).
