^ He already tried to avoid typecasting with Rasputin. Pity it was a JCS retread pile of crap that tried to cast Rasputin as some kind of mystic healer. Now he's just attempting a solo run before there's no Neeley left to try.

OMG he is going to be in Django Unchained?!

ETA: Just read the thing on his site about it. Love it. I already was excited for that movie, now just more so...can't wait to see how Tarantino uses him.

^ Fair warning, it's probably not going to be much of a role. Neeley's not even listed on IMDb for it yet. However, I do know his part in the movie involved location shooting in New Orleans.

After seeing him completely RUIN the last national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, I have NO desire to see him onstage again. He was truly awful in every way possible. The WORST performance I have seen by an actor in my life. Words can't even describe how terrible I thought he was.

g.d.e.l.g.i. - oh, yeah, I know it won't be a big role, it will just be a cameo. Like Mike Myers in Inglourious Basterds.
