Princess Mimichacha, I totally respect your right to your opinion. I just feel that this had the potential to be such a great piece - the basic idea was really good. But, instead of being gripped by it, I was bored senseless. It is not often that any musical does that to me as my tastes are pretty wide and I can enjoy all kinds of music from classic Broadway to rock. I just thought this was a mediocre piece of writing which, instead of coming across as brave, daring and cutting edge drama, came across to me as tacky - which is a shame as I thought John Cameron Mitchell's performance was stunning. But it needed a writer to give it the extra piece of magic it lacked.

Hedwig is awesome. I saw the movie and made my sister a fan of the music too. Then we went and saw the play. Origins of love is to me the best description of people finding their soul mates regardless of what preference.

MimiChica - you and I share at least one thing -we both Love Hedwig - I saw it twice at Jane Street and loved it both times - and I HATE rock and roll music....but Hedwig was so brilliantly written and acted, I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
