So I can only play kids/teens and roles written for shorter people. I can't tell you how many times I've been in Bye Bye Birdie and Annie, lol. And I could never EVER be a Rockette!!

Speaking of height, I came across this info about Kristen Chenoweth:
"She said one of the best things about being small is that people think you are cute and not a bitch."

The quote from the 4'11" Cheno:
"I used to want to be tall, and then I thought, 'If I were tall, then people would say I was pretty and not cute.' And then I realized that there are worse things than being called cute. They could say I was a bitch, which would be terrible in my book. So I've decided that this height ain't so bad."

Posted: 7/24/04 at 11:35pmTo me, it's tall, but to people who are like 5'9, it's short. I'd say average!

Yup, and I frankly don't want to get taller, pray that I've stopped growing at 15, but it's a family thing. My mom is 5'8" and my dad is 6'3"
I like where I am

Posted: 7/25/04 at 2:04am5'4 and 1/2. That;s a pretty decent height. I would think that height would play a more important role in casting for guys. Hunter Foster has said that he hasn't gotten roles because he isn't tall enough. You don't really hear a lot about girls being told they're too short or tall.

Word!
I am 5'10'' exactly!!!
A lot of people told me I am a good or "perfect" height for theatre, because I am not too tall and not too short so it's never a very drastic decision on if someone wants me or not!
Never has given me problems.

Remember girls...
Kristin Chenoweth and Jen Cody are both 4'11"
And they've done pretty well for themselves in theatre.
