Helldrivers of Daytona crashes and closes in Chicago

I've been reading Chris Jones' reviews religiously for over a decade and that was by far the worst review he has ever given a show. Normally, even when he hates something, he's respectful, but this musical must have really offended him. I feel bad for the actors because it sounds like it was just awful material and no fault of theirs.

BTW, can everyone who writes or produces a new musical stop putting in the press releases that it is aiming for Broadway? Every new musical is aiming for Broadway. It's implied. Saying so doesn't make your show sound any better.
