Mother and I are visiting the City March 11-14. She has never been and her requests are The Lion King and Little Mermaid. I know I need to purchase LK tix in advance, but what about LM? Is there a rush policy for this show and/or how often is this show at TKTS?

Also, I plan for us to see In the Hieghts. Should I purchase these in advance or try for these at TKTS....I think this show does a lottery for rush tickets??

Little Mermaid does a student rush for $30, but it's only for college students and you can only get one ticket per ID. They do have a discount code though (SEAW9) for $61.50 - $91.50 tickets. In the Heights does do a lottery, and I would either do that or try TKTS. Since you're going to be here midweek (less touristy than weekends), I wouldn't expect it to be hard to get tickets at the last minute.
