Help! I need a ticket to Coast of Utopia: Shipwreck Friday evening

Hey guys, I'm in a pickle and am hoping someone here can help me.

I had a ticket for Shipwreck (Part 2 of the Coast of Utopia) last night but unfortunately I was unable to make it to the performance. I've got a ticket for Salvage Tuesday 4/17 and I would really like to be able to see Part 2 before I see Part 3!

If any one has an extra ticket to this Friday night's show I would love to buy it! I can't afford full price orchestra, but I can afford lodge at $65. I can pay cash, paypal, whatever. And I'll travel pretty much wherever to pickup the ticket.

Also, I have one ticket to Deuce on Saturday night that I would be willing to trade for a ticket to Shipwreck.

Have you called the Lincoln Center box office and asked them about past-dating? If you still have the ticket and Friday's performance isn't completely sold out, you may be able to exchange the ticket at the box office for free. I would call them immediately and check if it's possible (I've been able to past date their shows in the past).

Aren't you generally limited to Tuesday-Thursday for past-dating though?

Worth looking into, and good luck, but if it would be at all possible for you to go tomorrow, your odds may be a bit better.

The woman at the box office told me to call Telecharge the day of the show to try the past dating. Unfortunately the only performances of Shipwreck between now and next Tuesday (when I have a ticket to Salvage) are Friday and Saturday night.

I will try Telecharge on Friday. Until then, my offer to trade my Deuce ticket for a Shipwreck ticket still stands!

You're right...I didn't even consider that Shipwreck wouldn't necessarily be on the bill tomorrow evening. Maybe since they have the rotating schedule, they toss out the Tues-Thurs rule, and will allow you to past-date at any performance that isn't entirely sold out.

In addition to whatever else, do ask at the box office. They issued me a replacement ticket when I lost one this past week IMMEDIATELY on my asking them (which was great of them) and maybe they have less red tape than telecharge/ticketron. If that doesn't work, I hope it does, you might be able to buy a ticket outside fri. night at the cut price that you can agree on with someone, second act it that night, or read the play at a bookstore or the library before you see part 3. If you go to box office early on and they say no, I would even try going to box office again later and asking a different person.

Unrelated to this: Does anyone else think the house manager at the Beaumont is kind of a nasty person?

UPDATE!

I was able to see Shipwreck tonight! Thanks for all your help and suggestions! I was told they don't issue past-date tickets Fri-Sun, but I'm pretty sure the man at the box office would have done it for me, if it weren't for his very grumpy co-worker who stopped him. : / Anyway, I was able to get a student rush ticket for $30. (Ugh, I only have a month-and-a-half left as a student! I'm gonna use it as much as I can while I still can)

I'm so glad I was able to see the show. It was even more captivating than Voyage. I can't wait for Tuesday to come so I can see everything come together the final part!

I'm glad you got to see the show!! And unless your student ID is dated, there's nothing to stop you from using it until you look too old :)

Hehe...well, it is dated, but I have a plan for that....every semester they scratch off the last semester's date and print a new one....I'm going to try to scratch the date off to ake it an undated id...I hope I can. I look young for my age, so hopefully it will last!
