I've been doing some thinking and possibly would like to buy my parents tickets to a show for Christmas. However, I've been thinking it'd be nicer to even go a step furhter and buy them tickets to both dinner and a show.

The shows they want to see are Phantom of the Opera and Spamalot. I'd probably get POTO though, because it is more of a classic, everyone should see it at least once, and they've been talking about it (but never actually see it).

Does anyone know any good and reputable websites that have good deals on Broadway show and dinner packages? Or do you think it'd be cheaper to buy 2 discounted tickets and say, a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant? We're Italian so they'd probably like some good restaurant within the area that serves Italian food - besides Carmine's. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

Millie, I know Broadway.com has theater/dinner packages that you can purchase. They have different levels based on how much you want to spend on the restaurant/quality of the restaurant. Other than that, I went to Joe Allen's restaurant in New York (you can find it online) and the food was really good. Hope this helps.

If you do a search on Google, everything that pops up include accomdations so looks like your best bet is Broadway.com or doing as you said and buying the show tickets separately with a gift certificate to a restaurant.
