I appear to have inadvertantly bought a ticket for the special midnight 'Hamlet' from the Factory at the Globe. This means I could go and see something in London on the evening of the 6th September. Which leaves me in an annoying place; everything currently showing that I want to see, I've already seen or bought tickets to, and everything else isn't open or showing on the 6th.
I was thinking I would see if I can get standing room for 'Piaf', but if that's not available... what other options do I have? I'm VERY cheap, would rather stay fairly central, and... well, I think at least some of you know the kinds of thing I like. The last few London shows I've seen have been 'Zorro', 'Romeo & Juliet', 'Timon of Athens', 'Black Watch', 'Never So Good', 'A Slight Ache', 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', 'Marguerite', 'Candide', 'Betwixt', 'Lord of the Rings', Troilus & Cressida', 'The Revenger's Tragedy', and a whole lotta Shakespearean History. I've checked the National, Globe, and Trafalgar Studios, and there's nothing I fancy there.
Do you think the odds of getting standing room for 'Piaf' are fairly respectable? That'd save a whole lotta decision-making. Or perhaps I should just quit while I'm ahead, as there's nothing I'd definitely like to see, and only come into town for crazy 'Hamlet'. Any and all opinions gladly received, although reception of an opinion does not necessarily mean it will be followed. Just... duly considered.
