I had the pleasure of seeing the all-female prison set HENRY IV with Harriet Walker tonight. There were times it dragged and times of pure enjoyment. I really am happy I saw it. It's set in a prison and you're literally locked in the prison with the inmates - it's 2 hours and 15 minutes and you can't leave. They're running all over the place. There's some interesting modern touches and feminist qualities, which don't always work, but still made it very interesting. I didn't know the play going in, so I think at first I wasn't totally engaged, but once I got into I was thrilled. The highlight was Sophie Stanton as Falstaff. I loved her! And I really enjoyed the direction. The prison guards are above in the catwalks walking around, etc.
