Posted: 5/18/08 at 11:43pmI did the show last fall, and he really doesn't do much. He sings "The Prince is Giving a Ball", and has like one or two short scenes.

I don't think so...
one would assume you were recently cast in the role... no?

Posted: 5/19/08 at 12:01amIt depends on which script you guys are using. The revised tour script is available upon request which includes the Disney revisions with "The Sweetest Sounds" and "There's Music in You" and in that version the Herald has a few more scenes than the standard licensed version.

Posted: 5/19/08 at 2:09amCould this be the Cinderella version I've hoped to come around...? Can you expand...?

Posted: 5/19/08 at 2:57amThere's not much to elaborate on. The script they licence is the standard version which resembles the Julie Andrews original more than anything else, but if you request the revised script they offer the same script used in the last national tour with Eartha Kitt. It can't be ordered as a perusal on-line. You have to call and request it specifically.

Posted: 5/19/08 at 3:21amI saw the Kitt version at Madison Square Garden back in 2001 and, as CATS said, the Herald did have an expanded role in that production. Incidentally, I recently saw Paolo Montalban in something but now I can't remember what it was. SVU maybe.
