Disney should invest in a stage version of Hercules. I just got through watching the film and couldn't help thinking that it must be my all-time fav Disney movie. So many Broadway people were involved.

i thought i had heard the disney was looking at making aladin and hercules the next two shows for broadway. i might be wrong, but those would be the most logical choices. i dont ever see the little mermaid or mulan coming to broadway, so those two are really the only shows left to do in my eyes.

Herc would have to be one of my fave Disney musicals too.

Roger bart is the singing voice of young hercules...so he should be Hercules if there was a stage version.

A local theatre company near me is doing a JR. version of Mulan. Its the world premiere which is pretty cool.

Tarzan and Little Mermaid are Disney's next two projects. Aladdin is already a show at the Disneyland Park, but I haven't heard anything about Hercules.

Tarzan already has it's production team assembled, and The Little Mermaid is currently in workshops (Kerry Butler as Ariel, Cheyenne Jackson as Prince Eric). I also believe that Hercules would be a fantastic Broadway show. Hopefully they would reconceive it, though. I don't want any more Beauty and the Beasts on Broadway.

i've thought that for a few years now... i could definitely see it on stage and i've kinda thought it out in my head too everytime i watched it or listened to the soundtrack. it would be great and the muses would be AMAZING

I remember seeing a Hercules musical on the Disney Cruise Line. They tried to make a parody of the film. It was a 5 years ago so I don't remember a lot from it but I remember it was a lot of fun and it had a good production.

Oh, it is completely inacurate to the myth in almost every single way
But it's still a fun movie with great music

I'd rather have Ramona Keller than Mary Bond Davis. And that's one too many Muses anyways. There's only 5. Heather Headley can be taken out. Her voice doesn't blend well, anyways.

I love the idea of Ernie Sabella as Phil....brilliance!

I thinkt his would be an awesome musical. But honestly, my number one choice for the next Disney show is Hunchback! It's so amazing! I love listening to the German cast of it. I would love to have Hunchback and Hercules on b'way! I swear I would die happy!

This is exactly what I was thinking. If we got the same team from Lion King behind it, it could be amazing. The only hurdle is the monsters and other special effects, which could definitely be done. The muses could be awesome, combine that with Megara played by Idina (probably won't happen) and who knows as Hercules, but it could be amazing. We need a petition or something
