Posted: 11/18/05 at 7:45pmThey used to have one on the Disney Magic, called "Hercules the Muse-ical." It was pretty funny, but I love the movie so I'm a bit biased. Sadly it's been replaced and is no more.

Posted: 11/18/05 at 8:16pmEh. I thought Hercules would be an excellent idea for a Disney musical. And Pocahontas perhaps. I always thought John Smith was the hottest man alive.

Posted: 11/18/05 at 11:43pmThe 'Muse-ical' was still playing when I went on the cruise this summer.

Posted: 11/19/05 at 12:07amI've got an idea!!!!! Why don't they take every damned movie that Disney has done and turn them all into Broadway musicals? I mean, why should we have anything else running on Broadway, anyhow? I can only imagine how DUMBO would turn out when it was translated to the stage.

I think it was replaced by the Golden Mickeys show. Did you go on any of the repositioning cruises? I think the switch occurred some time during the repo. I went in July/August but it's definitely gone.

Posted: 11/19/05 at 10:12amI went in June and they had both the Muse-ical and the Golden Mickey's (which I got to watch from the stage manager's booth and actually help work).

Posted: 11/19/05 at 1:12pmHercules would definetly be amazing, but i am still waiting for Pocahontas. That would probably be the easiest to translate onto the stage.

My friend and I were actually just talking today about how good Hercules would be as a musical...it has some of the best music in a Disney movie, plus it's just a really cute story line.
Pocahontas would be really good too. I always thought John Smith was really hot as well, but now I realize that he looks a lot like a Chippendale dancer. Go figure.

I think Pocahontas would be a political disaster
The movie was enough... but a musical would just drive the stake in further
